- 포피로 싸여진 자지의 끝 부분을 귀두라 하고, 귀두에 생긴 염증을 귀두염이라 한다.
- 때로는 귀두에만 염증이 생기지 않고 포피에도 감염병이 동시에 생길 수 있다.
- 귀두와 포피에 염증이 동시에 생기는 병을 귀두 포피염(Balanoposthitis)이라 한다.
| 귀두염의 원인 |
- 접촉성 피부염, 심한 수음, 세균 감염, 외상, 성병, 소아 성학대 또는 요도염 합병증 등이 원인이 될 수 있다
| 귀두염의 증상 징후 |
- 귀두가 붓고 발적되어 있고, 소양감이 생기고, 진물이나 고름이 날 수 있다.
- 드물게는 외요도구가 좁아지고, 소변을 보는 데 지장이 생길 수 있다.
| 귀두염의 진단 |
증상 징후 진찰소견 등을 종합해서 진단한다.
| 귀두염의 치료 |
- 원인에 따라 치료한다.
