뇌 낭미충증(뇌 포충증), Neurocysticercosis

뇌 낭미충증은 뇌, 뇌실, 혀 등이 돼지 조충(Taenia solium)의 낭미 포충에 감염되어 생기는 포충 질환의 일종이다.
돼지 낭미 포충이 신체의 어떤 계통 어떤 기관 어떤 조직에 감염되어 있느냐에 따라 낭미 충증의 증상 징후가 다르다.
뇌 낭미 충증의 증상 징후는 두통, 구기, 구토, 시야장애, 언어장애, 혼동, 시력환상, 청력환상, 경련, 정신 신경 박약 등이다.
이 병과 간질과 감별 진단해야 한다.
병력, 증상 징후, 진찰소견 등을 종합하고 대변에서 돼지 촌충 알이나 돼지 촌충 마디를 검사하고, 뇌 MRI검사, 뇌 CT 스캔 검사 등으로 진단할 수 있다.
Albendazole제와 Prednisone제로 치료한다.

Cysticercosis (encephalomycosis), Neurocysticercosis

• Cerebral cysticercosis is a type of cysticercosis disease caused by infection of the brain, ventricle, and tongue with cysticercosis of the pig hookworm (Taenia solium).

• Symptoms of cysticercosis vary depending on which system, which organ, and which tissue the swine cysticercosis is infected with.

• Symptomatic signs of cerebral cysticercosis include headache, gout, vomiting, visual disturbances, speech disturbance, confusion, vision hallucinations, hearing hallucinations, convulsions, and mental weakness.

• This disease and epilepsy should be differentially diagnosed.

• Diagnosis can be made by synthesizing the medical history, symptom signs, and examination findings, examining pig tapeworm eggs or pig tapeworm nodes in feces, and brain MRI and brain CT scan.

• Treat with Albendazole and Prednisone.
