미포자 충증, Microsporidiosis

역학	오염된 물을 통해서 곰팡이 포자를 섭취하면 이 병에 걸릴 수 있다. 사람에서 사람으로 감염되기도 한다. 인수 감염병에 속한다. Microsporidiosis를 Microsporidia infections이라고도 한다.
원인	E. intestinalis이나 Enterocytozoon bieneusi 곰팡이균 감염으로 생긴다.
잠복기	확실치 않다.
증상징후	물설사, 피설사, 열, 복통 등의 증상이 생긴다. HIV 감염이 된 사람에게 감염되면 뇌염, 부비동염, 결막 각막염, 피부염, 근육염, 골수염, 심장염, 간염, 담낭염, 복막염, 섭포선염, 요도염, 방광염, 폐렴, 심장염 등이 생길 수 있고 만성 설사를 일으킬 수 있다.
진단	소장 생체조직 곰팡이균 검사로 진단한다. PCR 분석검사로 진단한다.
치료	비 정상적 면역 체계를 복구시킨다. Albendazole, Fumagillin, Metronidazole, Atovaqone, Nitazoxanide 등으로 치료한다.
예방	예방접종 백신은 없다.

Microsporidiosis

Epidemiology

Ingestion of mold spores through contaminated water can cause the disease.

It can also be transmitted from person to person. belongs to the infectious disease. Microsporidiosis is also called Microsporidia infections.

Cause

It is caused by E. intestinalis or Enterocytozoon bieneusi fungal infection.

Not sure about the incubation period.

Symptoms

Symptoms include watery diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, fever, and abdominal pain. Infection with HIV-infected people can cause encephalitis, sinusitis, conjunctival keratitis, dermatitis, myositis, osteomyelitis, carditis, hepatitis, cholecystitis, peritonitis, cholecystitis, urethritis, cystitis, pneumonia, carditis, etc. and can cause chronic diarrhea.

Diagnosis

Diagnosis is made by examination of living tissue of the small intestine. Diagnosis is made by PCR assay.

Treatment

Treatment restores abnormal immune system. Treatment is with Albendazole, Fumagillin, Metronidazole, Atovaqone, or Nitazoxanide. Vaccination

There is no vaccine available.
