보레일리아 미야모토이병, Borrelia miyamotoi

Borrelia miyamotoi균에 감염된 사슴 진드기 Ixodes scapularis에 물릴 때 생긴 Borrelia miyamotoi 감염병을
보레일리아 미야모토이병 이라고 한다.
보레일리아 미야모토이 감염병에 걸리면 장기적으로 열이 나고 한전, 두통 근육통이 생길 수 있다.
라임병이 유행하는 뉴잉글랜드 사람들의 1~3%에서 혈청검사가 양성으로 나타난다.
일본과 소련에서도 발병된다.
라임병의 원인균 B. burgdorferi를 전파하는 진드기에 물릴 때에 이 병에 감염될 수 있다.
이 병은 진드기 매개체 재귀열의 일종으로도 생각한다.
진단은 CPR 검사나 혈청검사로 한다.
치료는 Doxycycline으로 한다.

Borrelia miyamotoi

• Prevents Borrelia miyamotoi infection caused by the bite of a deer tick Ixodes scapularis infected with Borrelia miyamotoi.

• Borelia is called Miyamoto’s disease.

• Borelia Miyamotoi Infectious disease can cause long-term fever, headache, and muscle aches.

• A serological test is positive in 1-3% of New Englanders with Lyme disease.

• It also occurs in Japan and the USSR.

• You can become infected with the disease when bitten by a tick that transmits B. burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease.

• This disease is also considered a form of tick-borne recurrent fever. •

Diagnosis is made by CPR test or serological test.

• Treatment is with Doxycycline
