제육아종(배꼽 육아종), Umbilical granuloma

제육아종(배꼽 육아종)의 원인

배꼽에 붙어 있는 탯줄 부분이 다 말라서 배꼽에서 완전히 떨어지기 전에 배꼽에 붙어 있는 마른 탯줄과 배꼽이 서로 마찰될 수 있다.
이 때 마른 탯줄과 배꼽이 서로 마찰될 때 배꼽이 자극을 받아 배꼽 손상이 생길 수 있다.
그 손상된 배꼽에 박테리아 감염이 생겨 경미한 배꼽 감염병이 생길 수 있다.
경미하게 곪은 배꼽 감염병 병소에서 균독이 생기고 그 균독으로 배꼽이 계속 더 자극받을 때 배꼽에 육아종이 생긴다.

제육아종(배꼽 육아종)의 증상 징후

제육아종의 크기와 정도에 따라 증상징후가 다르다.
제육아종은 쌀알 크기만 한 것도 있고 메주콩알 크기만 한 것도 있고 더러는 그보다 좀 더 큰 것도 있다.
제육아종은 배꼽의 맨 밑바닥 중앙 부위에 나 있는 것이 보통이다.
큰 제육아종은 배꼽의 위쪽으로 솟아 나와서 육안으로 쉽게 볼 수 있다.
어떤 것은 상당히 작고 배꼽의 맨 밑바닥의 중앙 부위에 깊숙이 파묻혀 있어서 눈에 쉽게 띄지 않을 수 있다.
제육아종에서 맑은 진물이 조금씩 흘러나와 배꼽이 촉촉하게 젖어 있는 것이 보통이다.
드물게는 제육아종에서 소량의 피가 날 수 있다.
배꼽에 붙은 탯줄이 완전히 말라 떨어지기 전에 탯줄의 바로 밑에 있는 배꼽에 난 아주 작은 제육아종은 탯줄로 가려서 잘 보이지 않을 수 있으나 그 탯줄이 떨어지면 더 잘 보인다.

제육아종(배꼽 육아종)의 치료

제육아종을 질산 은봉(Silver nitrate stick)으로 한두 번 지져 치료하면 잘 낫는다.
제육아종과 함께 있는 제염은 네오스포린이나 배시트라신 등의 항생제 연고를 발라 치료하고 베타다인 살균액제로 치료한다.
제육아종은 수술로 치료할 필요가 없다.

Umbilical granuloma

Causes of granuloma (umbilical granuloma)

• The part of the umbilical cord attached to the navel may dry out and the dry umbilical cord attached to the navel may rub against each other before it is completely removed from the navel. • At this time, when the dry umbilical cord and the navel rub against each other, the navel may be stimulated and damage to the navel may occur.

• Bacterial infection can develop in the damaged navel, resulting in a mild umbilical hernia. • When mycotoxin is produced in the lesion of a mildly stung umbilical infection, and the venom continues to irritate the navel further, granulomas are formed in the navel.

Signs, symptoms of granulomatosis (umbilical granuloma)

• Symptoms vary depending on the size and severity of the granuloma.

• Some of the second granules are the size of a grain of rice, some are the size of a soybean pea, and others are a little larger. Granulomas are usually found in the center of the bottom of the umbilicus. Large granulomas can be easily seen with the naked eye as they protrude above the umbilicus. Some are quite small and buried deep in the center of the bottom of the belly button, so they may not be easily visible.

• It is normal for the umbilical cord to be moist with a small amount of clear fluid from the granuloma.

• In rare cases, granulomas may bleed a small amount.

• A very small granuloma in the navel just below the umbilical cord before the umbilical cord attached to the umbilical cord is completely dry and may be obscured by the umbilical cord, but is more visible when the umbilical cord falls off.

Treatment of granuloma (umbilical granuloma)

• The granuloma can be cured by rubbing it once or twice with a silver nitrate stick.

• Decontamination with granuloma is treated with antibiotic ointment such as neosporin or bacitracin and treated with betadyne disinfectant.

• Granuloma does not require surgical treatment.
